Workplace Communication

Our training programs zero in on crucial areas in workplace communication that are particularly troublesome, such as delegating projects and tasks, communicating in challenging situations, and avoiding frustrations that occur because individuals have different communication styles.

Delegation/Leadership Skills

Delegation is a general term used in the workplace that, regrettably, can come to mean dump and disappear. In organizations that sell intangible services, teamwork on complex projects is essential to meeting client needs.  At the same time, project leaders in one team situation may have different roles in others, making the process of assigning and accomplishing work even more complex.

Our customized training program in delegation streamlines workflow and reduces the frustrations that occur when many professionals with different skills are working toward a critical deadline.

Communicating in Challenging Situations

Ideal communication with clients and colleagues should be streamlined and direct, yet neutral and friendly.  But some communication situations can be awkward.

Our half-day interactive workshop will provide you with a road map for navigating these problematic waters; when you need someone else to change his or her behavior, when you have to refuse a request, when you must discuss an uncomfortable or sensitive topic, or when an individual is likely to become emotional.

Understanding Communication Styles

Based on research in neurolinguistic programming, this workshop gives organizations, departments, and teams a common language to discuss ways to streamline their work, adapt to each other's differences, analyze and improve areas in which problems occur, and serve customers and clients more effectively.

This half-day or lunchtime workshop is fast-paced, fun, and interactive — and immediately improves group communication.
