JTG has coached nearly 100 short-listed teams of architects, engineers and/or contractors for interviews. At a time when win rates are being reported at between 12% - 20%, our win rate is outstanding, usually between 45% and 50%.

Research Equals Results
One reason we are able to achieve these results is the knowledge we gained during the in-person surveys we conducted with experienced selection panel members in 2003, 2007, and again in 2010. The panel members we talked with had sat on at least 20 panels, and often 50 or 75 panels.

What Was Asked
We asked these representatives to rate the factors that influenced their thinking during interviews and the factors that influenced their final decisions. We also asked them about the biggest mistakes teams made, and asked them to tell us the stories of the best interviews they ever saw.
