Karen Johnston, M.A., is a nationally recognized speaker, trainer, and facilitator. She is an expert in how adults learn and how groups function. This ability, combined with her personal interest in developing methods through which technical professionals can become effective marketers and presenters, has resulted in millions of dollars of new business for her clients.
Her interest in the marketing of services also led her to coauthor Relationship Selling: Building Trust to Sell Your Service. Karen is a regular contributor to magazines and journals and has been published in the National Law Journal, Legal Management, Puget Sound Business Journal, and numerous other publications and newsletters.
She has served on the boards for The Society for Marketing of Professional Services, The American Society for Training and Development, and The Pacific Northwest Speakers Association.
For two years, she was a lecturer in Business Communications for the University of Washington's M.B.A. program, and she has been a presenter, both regionally and nationally, for the Association of Legal Administrators. Karen currently serves on the advisory board for Antioch University's Center for Creative Change.
